DECARBOMILE Highlighted at the ALICE Brokerage Event in Brussels
On April 2–3, Pauline Buosi, the new coordinator of the DECARBOMILE project, took part in the ALICE Brokerage Event held at the Tangla Hotel in Brussels. The annual event brought together more than 100 logistics innovators, industry leaders, and researchers to foster new collaborations, explore Horizon Europe funding opportunities, and shape the future of freight transport and logistics in Europe.
A key feature of this year’s edition was its emphasis on project visibility, giving ongoing initiatives the opportunity to step into the spotlight. DECARBOMILE made the most of this platform, with active participation from three project partners: IT, LIHH, and CARA. This event also marked the first in-person meeting between Pauline Buosi and partners Jean-Baptiste Hahn and Sophronius Schalies, making it a memorable milestone for the collaboration!

During the event, Pauline also connected with Bartosz Kożuch, coordinator of the Green turn project, part of the same CIVITAS cluster as DECARBOMILE. It was a great occasion to exchange insights and strengthen synergies across projects.
The DECARBOMILE team extends warm thanks to the ALICE team for their kind welcome and excellent organization—especially Yanying Li, Marion Cottet, Elvina Nowak, Angjelo Andoni Yuliya Sahitava, and Fernando Liesa, who facilitated and animated the sessions with energy and expertise.
