New Resource Available: DECARBOMILE Project Blueprint

The DECARBOMILE Project Blueprint, developed by our project partners Copenhagen Business School (CBS) and Hamburg University of Technology (TUHH) is now available as a practical resource for cities, public authorities, logistics operators, researchers, and innovation practitioners interested in sustainable urban logistics.

Developed from the experiences of the four DECARBOMILE Living Labs in Hamburg, Nantes, Istanbul, and Logroño, the blueprint provides a visual overview of the project lifecycle, from project launch and use-case definition to implementation, demonstration, and long-term replication planning.

The blueprint highlights key activities across Living Lab development, stakeholder engagement, ICT deployment, project assessment, and communication. It also captures lessons learned, common challenges, and recommendations gathered throughout the project to support future initiatives in designing, implementing, and scaling sustainable last-mile logistics solutions.

The resource is intended as a practical guide for organisations seeking to develop collaborative and replicable urban logistics projects, helping stakeholders better understand the processes, requirements, and success factors involved in bringing innovative solutions from concept to implementation.
