WP1: Hubs preliminary design

D1.1 - Baseline situation for urban freight logistics in the living labs – Public –

Description: Compilation of the lessons learned and success keys in terms of policies, tools and methodologies, emphasising the 5 strategic pillars of the project (collaboration, space management, added-value services, regulation, digitalisation) associated to the benchmark of urban logistic consolidation models and initiatives all over Europe, notably multimodal experiences.

D1.2 - Technical specifications and integrated system design – Sensitive –

Description: High-level integrated system design including functional requirements, information flows, and data security interoperability and standardisation needs, digital sovereignty focal points, and identifying HUBs modules/components according to target services, making the difference between core modules (required across any site), added-value (not primary) components and site specific modules. Specifications of the core modules of ICT tools.

D1.3 - Data Management Plan – Sensitive –

Description: Data management policy to be implemented in the different demonstration areas, and processes for proper collection, processing, treatment, collaboration and storage of data.

WP2: Local stakeholders engagement

D2.1 - Implementation roadmap – Public –

Description: Result on stakeholders’ analysis in their metropolitan area and mobility economy ecosystems including the setting-up of the stakeholders’ management cycle; integration of strategic flows and expected targets of each demonstration site.

D2.2 - Co-creation methodologies for stakeholders & business development – Public –

Description: Interviews, questionnaires, and visits for consolidating the local stakeholders’ interests regarding the identified services, and consolidating the potential and feasibility of these services. Results on the suitability of the business models.

WP3: ICT tools development

D3.1 - Optimised tracking tools – Sensitive –

Description: Track&trace&monitor (T&T&M) tools, including hardware and software interoperability.

D3.2 - Innovative algorithms and models – Sensitive –

Description: Innovative routing, planning, load optimisation, load pooling, network design algorithms and urban models.

WP4: Innovative equipment development

D4.1 - Innovative last mile logistics equipment for the living labs – Public –

D4.2 - Technological Platform for delivery exchange – Sensitive –

Description: Technological Platform for delivery exchange through the development of an intelligent bikes’ warehouse and a network of bikes-boxes.

WP5: Crowd intelligence for green last mile

D5.1 - Generic business model for last mile delivery – Public –

Description: Based on the added-value service identified and the Cost-benefit Analysis of each use case, CBS will supervise the business model definition of each living lab. These models will lead to extended and replicable generic model.

WP6: Open framework for last mile delivery

D6.1 - DECARBOMILE Digital Collaborative Platform – Sensitive –

Description: DECARBOMILE Digital Collaborative Platform:

  1. An architecture for collaborative logistics, emphasizing interoperability with other existing solutions,
  2. A Digital Twin model implementation, facilitating customization for deployment in different Living Labs,
  3. Orchestration layer for services and smart contract coordination,
  4. a core operating framework to facilitate companies’ integration through standards and marketplace application

WP7: Demonstration phase

D7.1 - Quantitative analysis of the 4 living labs' demonstration phase – Public –

Description: Quantitative analysis of the 4 living labs’ demonstration phase: results from run system control and performance evaluations, from the different technical KPIs (including but not limited to energy efficiency, energy saving, cost efficiency, service level, etc.), from the monitoring of the effective operation in living labs.

D7.2 - Urban network design decision support system – Public –

Description: Urban network design decision support system including architecture, optimisation algorithms, API and Analysis tools and data learning models.

WP8: Impact, replication and up-scale

D8.1 - Social and economic assessment of the living labs – Public –

Description: Social and economic assessment of the living labs: sustainability assessment will be carried out on criteria such as emission accounting, air quality, congestion or social acceptance, economic analysis, evaluation of the business models, traffic and vehicles flows analysis to evaluate effects on environmental and socio-economic contexts in comparison with baselines established in WP1.

D8.2 - Methodological approach for the involvement of stakeholders – Public –

Description: New methodologies for specific local challenges and local stakeholders’ involvement in the scope of the investigation of market opportunities, barriers, and solutions.

D8.3 - DECARBOMILE replication guide – Public –

Description: DECARBOMILE replication guide: DECARBOMILE service blueprint, an actionable tool for replication and scalability for related initiatives across Europe. It goes with mainstream municipal cycle logistics model based on social and economic sustainability models implemented in the project, completed with a white paper and roadmap to TRL9 for project innovations.
